Toronto, CANADA – Behold thrill seekers and welcome to the amazing and mind-blowing experience that is THE MONSTERS OF SCHLOCK - THE WORLD'S ONLY TWO MAN CIRCUS SIDESHOW & COMEDY MAGIC EXTRAVAGANZA! An evening with the Great Orbax and Sweet Pepper Klopek, with musical guests Squid Lid, the mortal sins of Demonica de Morte, balloon man extraordinaire Scott McGovern, house beats by DJ Shannon, and including the acclaimed modern art of Antonella Sigismondi.

All happening Friday, March 27, Gladstone Hotel – 1214 Queen St. West. Doors open at 9pm. $15 at the door only.

Canada's most extreme entertainers have joined forces to bring you the Monsters of Schlock, a non-stop comedy roller coaster jam-packed with severe levels of absurd violence. A celebration of the art of Burnaby Q. Orbax and his brother Sweet Pepper Klopek, two modern-day daredevils. It's a slapstick stunt show hearkening back to the early days of vaudeville, with as much influence from the 3 Stooges as from the traveling carnivals of yore. Watch as they lampoon traditional magic, modern culture, and the circus arts. Cringe as they get burned, blistered, bloodied, bruised, fractured, hammered, hooked, pierced, padlocked, stapled, sliced, slapped, smashed, and scratched all in the name of Comedy!

Have you ever seen two men escape from one straight jacket? A four foot mouse trap snap shut on a grown man? A paper-rock-scissors match that resulted in a butane torch being extinguished on a man's tongue? Watch them bring together amazing physical stunts with irreverent slapstick comedy to create a show that will have you both screaming and laughing at the same time.

Featured guests: SQUID LID is a dark carnival-ized, big-beat, electro-music duo whose sound is a mix of cinema, drum and bass and dub-step. ANTONELLA SIGISMONDI is a multi-talented artist whose work has been commissioned by Marilyn Manson, Daniel Lanois, the Tea Party, Don Allen, and many more.
