Blue Teeth.

Today was a nicely earned day off, a little calm before the storm.

This week is frosh week on campuses here in Ontario, which not only means that it is a busy week for shows but it also means it is my first week back teaching.

On Tuesday and Wednesday we have both noon and evening shows and Thursday at 9 am I start with physics duties (heh heh, I said doodies) then we cap off the week on Saturday with the big Wellington Cask festival (which you can still attend if you go here).

The days that we do nooner shows and evening shows are a little weird. It's a bit strange to try and get the energy up for a show that early in the day, and then there's a weird gap of juuuuuust too long a period of time before the next one starts.

Regardless, I'm sure we'll be incredible.

More importantly, today I faced my biggest fear which was having my Bluetooth headphones die just as I started my workout.

Panic gripped me like a metaphor which I'm too lazy to flesh out when that robot woman's voice melodiously overrode my podcast stating 'Low Power, Please Charge'.

I had just started.

Literally, just.

I had at least an hour left. No audio. No headphones.

What was I to do?

My biggest worry was that someone would attempt to engage me in conversation. I mean it's happened before even WITH the headphones in! Can you imagine that? Someone actually trying to speak with you?
Writing it out like this I'm sure you can see the horrors that presented themselves to me.

Thankfully I made it through unscathed, and only had to briefly speak with one other person beside Pepper today when I went to Shoppers Drug Mart to buy 50 SPF sunscreen for tomorrow.

Check out my party change.
